About
Ty Henry
Born in Cambridge, MD, Ty Henry's dedication to community service is complemented by his warm southern hospitality and charm. Ty currently serves as the Vice President of the East Elmhurst Corona Civic Association and an active member of the Kiwanis Club of LaGuardia Airport. Through these roles, he dedicates his time to engaging with seniors, supporting Family Day and Kids Day, participating in neighborhood clean-ups, and organizing toy and clothing drives, among other community endeavors.
Professionally, Ty began his career as a Surgical Technologist trained in the United States Army, where he served three tours of duty overseas, earning the title of a Veteran. Now, he brings the same level of dedication to his community that he gave to his country for over 16 years.
An entrepreneur at heart, Ty fell in love with the vibrancy of New York City and the hidden gems it holds, particularly the rich history of East Elmhurst Corona, leading him to make New York his home. With a track record of exceptional performance both individually and as part of a team, Ty's energy, attention to detail, and strong interpersonal skills, along with his unwavering personal ethics and integrity, are evident in his dedication to his family, friends, and community.
Ty Henry is a proud father of two sons and two daughters, residing in East Elmhurst with his wife, Shanel Thomas-Henry.
